Louis Marineau founded the company in 1936 with a commitment to quality workmanship, honesty, and treating every project with pride. What began as a small family painting business grew through decades of dedication, serving homeowners, businesses, institutions, and historic landmarks across Vermont.
As the company expanded, Louis passed that commitment to craftsmanship on to the next generation.
In the 1990s, brothers Mark, Brian, and Les Marineau assumed leadership of the business, continuing the family tradition while expanding its expertise in commercial painting, historic restoration, industrial coatings, wallpaper installation, and EPA Lead-Safe certified renovation.
Today, Louis Marineau & Sons remains family owned and operated, carrying nearly 90 years of experience into every project while maintaining the same values that built the company in 1936.
